Hey'o, I'm David — a designer, developer, and occasional product wrangler who's been building digital experiences for 8+ years.
I work at the intersection of design, software engineering, and product leadership, where creative thinking meets structured execution. I enjoy that blurry space where ideas turn into real things — and where technology is shaped to feel natural, empathetic, and genuinely useful to the people on the other side of the screen.
Currently, I'm a co-founder and tech lead at Loyal, where we focus on making technology serve people first. I design and build digital products that streamline processes while ensuring change feels understandable, human, and maintainable. My role spans hands-on technical execution, product and technical strategy, and working closely with clients and partners to bridge intent and implementation.
Lately, I've been particularly interested in how rapid technological change — especially AI-enabled tools — can be introduced in ways that feel natural, human, and maintainable for both people and organisations. I'm less interested in novelty for novelty's sake, and more in thoughtful adoption that actually sticks.
In my free time, I'm deeply fanatical about Ethiopian coffee and brewing it just right, spend a lot of time nodding my head to music across genres (currently exploring house subgenres), and find balance out in nature on my road bike. I also have a soft spot for beautifully designed objects — with the OD-11 very much on my mind lately.
